Throughout the history of cars, there have been many types of cars made. There are all different companies, and styles. By definition an automobile or car is a wheeled vehicle that carries its own motor and transports passengers. The automobile as we know it was not invented in a single day by a single inventor. The history of the automobile reflects an evolution that took place worldwide. It is estimated that over 100,000 patents created the modern automobile. You can point to the many firsts that occurred along the way to producing the modern car; and with that goal in mind, highlighted below are articles, biographies, timelines, and photo galleries related to the history of the automobile and its many inventors. The picture below shows the full compartment of a model T engine

From the beginning of the 1900's technology had been evolving in newer more efficient ways. During this time, Ford had been creating and selling the first automobile the model T. The model T was a fresh start but while time went by it needed improvements that relate it to modern day cars. as you can clearly see the model T had vary dull plain skin and little or no compartments. The greatest features of modern vehicles are not only the exterior but mostly the mechanics of cars such as this one. the model T was simple, it had a gas pedal, brake, and clutch with a steering wheel. not much but the basics needed for an automobile. Today's engineers have thought of adding more important controls such as a speed indicator, oil gadge, windshield wipers, and most importantly added gears, headlights and rubber tires.
Most safety precautions were not available on the model T,mostly because it wasn't too likely for a collision at the time since the model T wasrelativelyslow. later on most improvements we see in cars today were eventually put into newer models. The model T and an average car is the spacing and engine. The model T had a small room capacity and only held the engine in the front part of the car. Modern technology had widened the space for electronic wireing, headlights, Batterys, and even a GPS (this for some cars can allows the car to make "quick actions" in a situation that could end up in a crash). All devices in a car all relate back to faster transportation with the newer adaption on safety.
